Kitchen remodel questions, answered

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

It depends on scope. A cabinet-and-countertop refresh typically runs days to a couple of weeks; a full kitchen remodel (cabinets, stone, tile, lighting, layout changes) typically runs several weeks. You get a written schedule with the estimate, and staying on it is one of the things customers mention in our reviews.

Can I stay in my house during a kitchen remodel?

Almost always, yes. We keep the workspace contained and clean as we go, and we sequence the work to keep the kitchen out of commission for as short a stretch as possible.

Do I need a full remodel, or just counters and cabinets?

Not every kitchen needs a gut renovation. A surprising number of the transformations in our project photos are cabinets, counters, tile, and lighting, with no walls moved. The free in-home estimate is where we help you figure out which project your kitchen actually needs.
